Mappy
A Unique Take on Action
While Pac-Man and Galaxian were huge, Mappy held a special place in Namco's arcade lineup. The gameplay, using trampolines to navigate floors and doors to stun cats, felt completely fresh and different. The Famicom port captured this unique charm perfectly. The cheerful music is instantly recognizable and brings back a wave of nostalgia. It's a prime example of Namco's golden age of creativity.
