Max boots up an old console relic and finds a save file already there -- a stranger's name, and an enormous number of hours played. Then a faint, gentle figure rises from the data: the memory of the player who came before.
Max's finger hovers over DELETE. But he stops. Instead of erasing it, he decides to continue the stranger's adventure from exactly where they left off.
The figure smiles, at peace, and quietly fades. Max plays on -- carrying forward the journey of someone he never met. In this world, the data we leave behind is a kind of life. And kindness is choosing not to erase it.
