No game, No life

Various games I spent my days with, as the son of a game store owner, I spent my childhood with games.
Games have nurtured me during my days and childhood, immersed in games. It was adventure, history, culture, thought, and sometimes even English and math.

With the changing times, such a fun game store had to close its doors. After closing, I would like to bring the games that have been carefully preserved to the world with my own hands. It is with this desire that I decided to operate this game store.

 

Our Mission

Our family was like a game. My father was addicted to invader games, and even went so far as to create his own games with his own programs. He was so addicted that he even went to the metropolis to buy parts. We were always playing the games he created, so we were familiar with games from childhood. We three male brothers were never short of games to play on a daily basis. Naturally, it also became a hangout for our friends, and the way we all shared one TV at that time was a happy scene, looking back on it now.　

Even those days are fading. At the time, Japan was in a recession, I was unable to find a good job, and other things were not going well in my life.
My father had opened 10 stores, but they were shrinking one after another, and I felt that his small back was unreliable. I was playing games all the time, and I may have resented my father's situation. By that time, I was not playing any games.

 Time passed, and his father passed away.

As I was cleaning up the games that were left behind, I think I was retracing my father's footsteps. In retracing his path, I came into contact with my father's passion and love for games anew, and I realized that my prejudice against games was wrong. My father had a dream of expanding his stores all over Japan. He also wanted his sons to be active in the big world. I decided to fulfill my father's wish by bringing his legacy of games to the world.

Everything has advantages and disadvantages. Everything is a characteristic and two sides of the same coin. For example, the term “game addiction” is widely used in the world. But is gaming really that bad?
Even alcohol can cause problems if consumed in excess, and different people have different tolerances. Just as alcohol has its advantages, games have various advantages.

For me, knowing the characteristics is what is important. It is an important knowledge to live in this world. I hope that more and more people will be able to see things from different perspectives through games, realize their mission in life, and live in the wonderful conditions they have now without resenting their circumstances as I did, while reviving the excitement and thrill of encountering games as a child.

We want to bring you something beyond games. It may be the origins of the game or the story behind the game that really moved us.
