work plan (short SOP)

  1. Pre-clean exterior with a soft brush and dry cloth.

  2. Open shell; remove dust from vents and speaker area.

  3. Wash shell pieces with mild soapy water; dry completely.

  4. Clean PCB gently with isopropyl alcohol; inspect for corrosion.

  5. Remove old pad residue; install fresh silicone pads if needed.

  6. Polish cartridge slot pins with a dry swab; no liquids.

  7. Battery health check; replace if capacity is weak.

  8. Reassemble; charge test; 20-minute gameplay test; sleep/wake test.
