Collection: PC Engine
What does a PC Engine cost?
On this shelf today, consoles run about $119–$1,090 (most sit near $175), HuCard games $11–$220 (most near $24), and accessories $8–$150. Prices are shown in US dollars; your own currency is applied at checkout. (Bands as of 2026-08.)
Five things move a PC Engine's price more than anything else:
-
Which machine it is. The white PI-TG001 and the CoreGrafx (PI-TG3) are the everyday machines. The Shuttle (PI-TG2), the SuperGrafx (PI-TG4) and the handheld GT (PI-TG6) are collector machines and cost several times more.
-
Box and papers. A boxed unit costs meaningfully more than a bare one. The cardboard survived thirty-five years, and that is the hard part.
-
What comes with it. A console sold with games carries the games' value on top of the machine.
-
CD-ROM² capability. Adding the IFU-30 Interface Unit or moving to a DUO-series machine puts a PC Engine in a different price class entirely.
-
Condition. Everything here is cleaned and tested by hand in Japan. Anything sold for parts is labelled as such, and priced as such.
Every machine on this shelf is a Japanese NTSC-J unit — the same hardware NEC sold in Tokyo, not the American TurboGrafx-16.
