A Collaboration of Two Geniuses: Nintendo and Sharp.

Hello, it's the shopkeeper.

In the history of the Famicom, separate from the "official history" spun by Nintendo, there exists another, exceptionally beautiful "official side story." It is a tale of trust and a division of roles between two great Japanese companies: the "genius of play," Nintendo, and the "genius of integration," Sharp.

At the time, enjoying both the Famicom and the Disk System required two machines and two giant AC adapters. The back of the TV was a veritable jungle of cables... It was the electronics giant, Sharp, that solved this "messy problem" in the most elegant way.

They took the soul of the ultimate software and hardware created by Nintendo and polished it to perfection with their own technology as masters of "AV equipment craftsmanship."

The result is this Twin Famicom. The power supplies were unified into one, and it came standard with "AV Output (RCA connectors)," which offered a level of beauty incomparable to the blurry RF output of the original. This isn't just a combo unit. It's another history, where the soul of Nintendo was given a "legitimate evolution" through the technology of Sharp.

My father used to call this machine the "honor student." My grandfather also had this red honor student proudly sitting at his house, to help prevent dementia. (Mind you, it didn't have a single disk, though.)

This unit is the crystallization of a beautiful story of "trust," where two great companies acknowledged each other's talents and aimed for a single goal. Won't you welcome this witness to history into your living room?

[A Note on Maintenance: Connecting to the Future]

The Twin Famicom's structure has a weakness of easily collecting dust internally. Therefore, at our shop, we don't just clean it; we disassemble it and wash every nook and cranny inside.

The heart of the Disk System, the rubber belt, is of course replaced with a new one. Furthermore, we don't just replace it. We also make fine adjustments so that when the belt eventually deteriorates again, it will be easy for you, the customer, or a future technician to repair.

This is not just a used item. It is a special machine, serviced with my own memories and a wish to connect this wonderful console to the next generation.
