The Action-Adventure Collection

A Word from the Curator

This exhibit is dedicated to games that are all about the thrill of exploration and discovery. The action-adventure genre throws players into vast, often mysterious worlds filled with secrets to uncover, tools to find, and dangers to overcome.

From the lonely, hostile planet of Metroid to the sprawling fields of Hyrule, these games gave us a true sense of freedom and wonder. They weren't just about getting a high score; they were about embarking on an unforgettable journey. This collection celebrates the games that made us feel like true adventurers.
