The Works of Square

A Word from the Curator

This exhibit is dedicated to the masters of the epic RPG, Square. In the face of overwhelming competition, this was the studio that gambled everything on one last hope and created an immortal legend: Final Fantasy.

Square's games were defined by their cinematic ambition, deep character customization, and unforgettable musical scores. They didn't just create games; they created entire worlds with rich histories and dramatic, emotional stories. This collection celebrates the storytellers who elevated the RPG from a simple game to a true art form.
