Hello, your shopkeeper here.

In our childhood, the three letters "NEC" were magical. As Japan’s top PC company, NEC ruled the world of serious machines—so when it entered home gaming, it was nothing short of revolutionary.

A compact white console that fit in your hand. Ultra-thin game cards called "HuCARDs." It looked minimal, but the visuals it produced blew the Famicom away. Especially the shooting games—visually stunning, musically brilliant. We saw the true might of Japanese engineering.

(I once lost a HuCARD at a friend’s house—it was so tiny, I nearly cried looking for it. I doubt I was the only one.)

Here, we showcase the PC Engine—a masterpiece of compact, powerful design and technical beauty.
