Other Consoles: Treasures from the Margins of Gaming History

Hi, the shopkeeper here.

History is often told by the victors—but gaming’s story is also filled with unsung heroes.

These were consoles that didn’t find mainstream success, but won the hearts of a devoted few with their bold, unique personalities. Maybe their design was too quirky. Maybe they focused too narrowly. But in their imperfections, they shone in ways no major system ever could.

This section is a treasure hunt. A chance to discover the lovable oddities, the what-ifs, and the pure charm of machines that time forgot.

Who knows? Your new favorite console might be one you’ve never even heard of.

Let’s go exploring together.
