We ship from Japan worldwide. Consoles are professionally cleaned and gameplay-tested before dispatch.

How shipping & duties work

  1. Packing (1–3 business days): cleaned, tested, safely boxed.
  2. Carrier: for overseas orders, mainly UPS from Japan with tracking, or Japan Post for small parcels. For some items and destinations we may also use FedEx or DHL. Orders within Japan are sent by Sagawa Express or Yamato Transport.
  3. Free shipping: on orders of $100 USD or more that include a console, to every country we ship to, the United States included, except Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru. Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru: shipping is charged on every order (from US$15.00 to US$49.99, depending on the item), because shipping to South America costs far more.
  4. Import fees: Orders ship DAP (“Delivered At Place”). If your country charges duties/VAT/GST, the carrier may ask you to pay them before delivery.
Heads-up: Import rules change by country and are decided by customs. We cannot quote or pre-collect your local tax. Please check your authority’s guidance if unsure.

United States

Shipping: Free on orders of US$100 or more that include a console. Otherwise: consoles US$19, handheld consoles US$10.50, games & accessories US$10.50 for the first item plus US$3 for each additional one.

Duties & taxes: Not collected by us. U.S. customs decides the amount, and the carrier asks you to pay it before or at delivery.

Delivery: UPS or Japan Post (sometimes FedEx or DHL), with tracking. If any import fee is due, the carrier will contact you.

European Union

VAT & duties: Most EU countries collect VAT and, in some cases, duty on the customs value (items + shipping). The carrier will notify you if payment is required.

United Kingdom

VAT & duties: The carrier may collect VAT and any applicable duty before delivery.

Canada

GST/HST & duties: May be collected by the carrier according to Canadian customs rules.

Hong Kong

Shipping: Free on orders of US$100 or more that include a console. Otherwise: consoles US$19, handheld consoles US$10.50, games & accessories US$10.50 for the first item plus US$3 for each additional one.

Duties & taxes: Hong Kong is a free port, so retro games and consoles normally arrive with no import duty or sales tax.

Power: Hong Kong uses 220V. Japanese consoles are made for 100V, so please use a step-down transformer. Region & Power Guide

Singapore

Shipping: Free on orders of US$100 or more that include a console. Otherwise: consoles US$19, handheld consoles US$10.50, games & accessories US$10.50 for the first item plus US$3 for each additional one.

GST: For imports above the local threshold, GST may be collected by customs via the carrier.

Taiwan

Shipping: Free on orders of US$100 or more that include a console. Otherwise: consoles US$19, handheld consoles US$10.50, games & accessories US$10.50 for the first item plus US$3 for each additional one.

Duties & taxes: For parcels above the local tax-free limit, customs may charge import duty and business tax (VAT), collected by the carrier.

Power: Taiwan uses 110V, close to Japan’s 100V, but a step-down transformer is still recommended for original power supplies. Region & Power Guide

FAQ

Do you prepay duties or VAT?
No. We ship DAP (Delivered At Place). If your country charges import fees, the carrier collects them on behalf of customs.
Can you mark the parcel as “gift” or lower the value?
Sorry, we must declare the actual value and contents to comply with customs laws.
What if I refuse the parcel due to fees?
Refused or unclaimed parcels are returned by the carrier. Shipping and any return costs are not refundable.
How do I track my order?
You’ll receive a tracking number by email once shipped.
