Used Nintendo Super Famicom Console System Boxed — Super Mario World & Super Mario Kart (2-Game Bundle)

The Super Famicom powers on, and you’re torn between two adventures: a dinosaur-filled kingdom or a race track where shells fly as fast as friendships break. Together, these titles didn’t just define Nintendo—they rewrote how games could be shared, argued over, and loved.

Why this bundle is special:

  • Boxed Super Famicom console with classic Nintendo design

  • Two 16-bit legends: Super Mario World (1990 JP) & Super Mario Kart (1992 JP)

  • Cleaned and gameplay-tested for reliable play

About the games:
Super Mario World (1990 JP, “Super Mario Bros. 4”) — A launch title that showed off what the Super Famicom could really do. Mode 7 spinning stages, lush colors, and Yoshi’s grand debut turned “more Mario” into something revolutionary.
Behind the curtain, it was built to show off the new hardware’s tricks—stretching and rotating platforms, huge maps with secrets layered everywhere. It went on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide, one of the SNES’s greatest hits. Commercials made Yoshi the star, plastered across TV as Mario’s “new best friend.” And in homes, kids imitated Yoshi’s gulping sound endlessly—parents still remember the chorus echoing from living rooms.

Super Mario Kart (1992 JP) — What began as a tech experiment—two characters on one screen—turned into a genre-defining racer. Tight drifting, item chaos, and that blue shell energy before the blue shell even existed.
It sold around 9 million copies worldwide, proving that racing could be playful, not just serious. Marketing showed friends laughing, crashing, and yelling at each other, and that’s exactly what happened in living rooms. Players created their own “house rules”—like banning the feather jump in Battle Mode—and those unwritten laws became part of schoolyard culture. To this day, friendships still shiver at the phrase, “don’t hit me with that red shell.”

Why these two together:
One game made the Super Famicom sing at launch; the other made it a party machine. Together, they’re the reason Mario wasn’t just a mascot—he was family game night incarnate.

Play it worldwide:
Power 100 V (Japan). Generally fine in 110–120 V regions; use a step-down transformer for 220–240 V regions. Video: NTSC-J composite via Nintendo multi-out; RGB or S-Video possible with the right cable and a compatible display/upscaler. See our Country Guide for setup tips.

Good to know:

  • Japanese Super Famicom (not US/EU SNES); SNES carts won’t fit or boot without an adapter

  • Worldwide shipping from Japan with a 7-day initial defect guarantee
