A tribute in shape, a charging dock in purpose — the NEOGEO X Station and arcade joystick were designed to bring the handheld NEOGEO X back to the TV, dressed in the proud form of the legendary AES.
Used. This item is the Japan version. This listing includes the docking station (“Neo Geo X Station”) and the arcade stick (joystick controller) only. The Neo Geo X portable handheld console, cables, power adapter, instruction manual, and box are not included.
The docking station has scuffs and scratches. The arcade stick has scuffs, and the joystick shaft has areas where the paint has worn off.
Please note: this is not a Neo Geo AES system. The Neo Geo X Station is a charging and TV output dock (HDMI / A/V) designed to look like the original Neo Geo AES console. The arcade stick is styled after the classic Neo Geo AES joystick controller.
From the curator’s notebook
“When this arrived, many thought SNK had revived the AES. In truth, it was a beautiful illusion — a bridge between the legend of 1990 and the nostalgia of 2012. Even as a dock, it carries the spirit of the arcade.”
📖 Curious about the Neo Geo AES? I wrote its whole story — how it was born and what made it special — in our Museum. Read the story → — The shopkeeper, Japan 🇯🇵
What You Will Actually Pay
Nothing appears later that is not listed here.
The item — $235.00. That is the price on this page.
Shipping from Japan — $10.50 to most countries, plus $3 for each additional game, accessory, book or CD. Ordered together with a console, it ships free once the order reaches $100; games and accessories ordered on their own are charged shipping, whatever the total. One exception. Shipping to Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru is $15.00, plus $3 for each additional item, on every order, because shipping to South America costs far more. The exact figure for your address appears at checkout, before you pay.
Import duties and taxes. Not included in the price and not collected at checkout — for every country, including the United States. Your country’s customs decides the amount, and the carrier will ask you to pay it before or at delivery. The carrier may also charge its own fee for handling customs. Rules differ by country and can change, so we can’t tell you the exact amount in advance. If a carrier ever presents a charge that looks wrong, send us the paperwork and we will look into it with you.
We have one of these. It is the unit in the photographs above — not a stock image, and not one of several.
It leaves Japan within 1–3 business days of your payment, with a tracking number sent to you by email.
