Why this pair? For those who love the climb. Rockman X3 and Rockman & Forte (Mega Man & Bass) are among the Super Famicom’s hardest, most rewarding action games — every dash earned, every boss a lesson. Mastery as its own reward, the way the old disciplines taught it. Cleaned and tested by hand in Japan. — The shopkeeper
Used. Tested and working. All images on this product page are sample images. This console operates normally and is compatible with NTSC-J (Japan region) games.
The console and both controllers show scuffs, scratches, and slight yellowing from age. Includes a USB power cable and a third-party AV cable. Box and manual are not included.
Included are two original Super Famicom game cartridges:
Rockman X3 (Mega Man X3)
Rockman & Forte (Mega Man & Bass)
Note: Cartridges only – no boxes or manuals are included. The cartridges have scuffs, scratches, and yellowing from normal use. All game cartridges are in Japanese language.
These are authentic Japanese versions of Rockman X3 (Mega Man X3) and Rockman & Forte (Mega Man & Bass) for the Super Famicom (known as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in other regions). Perfect for collectors and retro gaming fans who want to experience the original Japanese editions of these iconic Capcom action platform games.

What We Did Before This Ships
Every console we sell is opened up and serviced by hand.
We don't just confirm it powers on — we look inside.
This unit was fully disassembled and cleaned internally; dust was removed from all components.
All boards and electrical contacts were cleaned with ethanol and a fast-drying, residue-free electronics cleaner to remove oxidation and residue.
Moving mechanical parts were lubricated with a light application of silicone grease for smooth, quiet operation. (We do not apply grease to electrical contacts — they are cleaned only.)
Electrolytic capacitors are replaced only when there is visible corrosion or leakage — nothing more, nothing less. For console families known for capacitor failure, a full recap is performed as standard.
If a console cannot be properly restored, we do not sell it.
After reassembly, the unit is tested with an actual game: video, sound, and controller input are all confirmed.
Before we seal the box, we power the console on one more time and confirm it is still working.
Every console includes 30 days of support after it reaches you.
A note on power: a USB power cable is included. Plug it into a USB charger (not included). No step-down transformer is needed in any country.
A note on region: This is a Japanese Super Famicom. Its cartridge slot accepts the rounded Japanese/PAL cartridge shape; North American SNES cartridges are physically taller and will not fit without modification. Japanese and PAL software share the same physical format, but use different region-lockout chips (CIC) and are not cross-compatible.
If anything here isn't covered, just ask — questions are always welcome.
🎮 Add a game — it travels in the same box as your console.
We’re shipping your Super Famicom anyway, so any game you add rides along in the same box for just $3 more shipping each. Shipping is free to most countries once your order includes a console and reaches $100. Make it a full evening — browse in-stock Super Famicom games & more →

What You Will Actually Pay
Nothing appears later that is not listed here.
The item — $137.44. That is the price on this page.
Shipping from Japan — $10.50 to most countries, plus $3 for each additional game, accessory, book or CD. Ordered together with a console, it ships free once the order reaches $100; games and accessories ordered on their own are charged shipping, whatever the total. One exception. Shipping to Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru is $15.00, plus $3 for each additional item, on every order, because shipping to South America costs far more. The exact figure for your address appears at checkout, before you pay.
Import duties and taxes. Not included in the price and not collected at checkout — for every country, including the United States. Your country’s customs decides the amount, and the carrier will ask you to pay it before or at delivery. The carrier may also charge its own fee for handling customs. Rules differ by country and can change, so we can’t tell you the exact amount in advance. If a carrier ever presents a charge that looks wrong, send us the paperwork and we will look into it with you.
It leaves Japan within 1–3 business days of your payment, with a tracking number sent to you by email.
