Product Description:
With an imposing 21-inch frame, this was the star of the living room. How much excitement must have been generated around this big screen when friends gathered? A grand unit that symbolizes an era.
Hello, it's the shopkeeper.
In the history of games, there are solitary geniuses who, due to their sheer innovation, were just a little too ahead of their time. This TV-integrated Super Famicom, the "SF1"—a fusion of Nintendo's "soul" and Sharp's "technology"—was precisely one such machine.
At the time, the sight of a TV and a game console integrated so beautifully, without a single millimeter of wasted space, was something out of a distant future for us.
However, as you know, the SF1 was also an extremely delicate and temperamental hero. I remember my father always struggling to repair these machines in his shop. "The mind of a genius is a mystery to us mere mortals," he would say with a laugh.
And now, before me lies a single hero who, after a long and arduous battle, has finally succumbed and fallen into a quiet slumber. It does not move. It does not display games. Yes, this is a "Junk" item.
But I simply cannot bring myself to think of this as mere "scrap." I feel that inside this silent chassis, the beautiful future that the engineers at Nintendo and Sharp dreamed of is still sleeping. I feel like I can hear its heartbeat.
This unit is no longer a "tool for playing." It is a challenge, entrusted to you, the skilled "master physician" and "hero" of the future. With your knowledge, your skill, and your affection, could you not reawaken this sleeping lion's eyes?
I am waiting from the bottom of my heart for a new master to appear—one who will either return this hero to the battlefield, or display it in a museum to live out its peaceful retirement.
[A Note to the Future Hero: The Honest Truth About Junk Items]
This product is a non-functional "Junk" item. Our shop's professional staff also attempted to reawaken this hero, but unfortunately, our skills were not enough.
You can use it for parts, or display its beautiful design as a witness to history. Or, with your own "legendary skill," you can breathe life into this hero once more. We entrust its entire fate to you, its new owner.
For this reason, this product comes with absolutely no warranty, and we cannot accept returns or refunds. Please, with that "resolve" in your heart, take up this challenge.
- From the Shopkeeper at enjoy Game Japan
Used. For parts or not working. This is a rare 21-inch CRT television with a built-in Super Famicom console.
The built-in CRT screen does not display the game video. After replacing the capacitors, the external video output now shows a black-and-white image. Audio output works when using the external output. Due to these issues, this unit is being sold as-is for repair, parts, or display purposes only.
The TV has scuffs, scratches, and some minor stains.
Please note: The original box, instruction manual, and cables are not included. The power adapter is attached to the TV.
