Why build your own? Because the best set is the one that is yours. The New Famicom (HVC-101) is the late, refined model — the same heart that started it all, in its cleanest form. Tell me how you like to play, and I’ll pair this cleaned, tested console with the controller and games that fit you. Matching people to games is the whole of our trade. — The shopkeeper, Enjoy Game Japan

Used and tested.
Please note: the images shown are for sample/reference only.

The console shows cosmetic wear from normal use, including scuffs and scratches.
Each controller also has scuffs and small marks, with slight yellowing in some areas.
Includes a USB power cable (USB charger not included) and third-party AV cables. The Console Only choice also includes the USB power cable, but no AV cable.

What You Will Actually Pay

Nothing appears later that is not listed here.

This listing — from $101.23 to $159.78, depending on the option you choose above.
Shipping — free to most countries. Any order of $100 or more that includes a console ships free, and this console is already above that — games you add ride along free too. One exception. Shipping to Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru is $49.99 on every order, because shipping to South America costs far more. The exact figure for your address appears at checkout, before you pay.
Import duties and taxes. Not included in the price and not collected at checkout — for every country, including the United States. Your country’s customs decides the amount, and the carrier will ask you to pay it before or at delivery. The carrier may also charge its own fee for handling customs. Rules differ by country and can change, so we can’t tell you the exact amount in advance. If a carrier ever presents a charge that looks wrong, send us the paperwork and we will look into it with you.

It leaves Japan within 1–3 business days of your payment, with a tracking number sent to you by email.

If it arrives damaged in transit, does not work, or is not as described, email us within 30 days of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging — it is covered by our 30-day warranty, and we pay the return shipping. If you simply change your mind, you can return it within 30 days of delivery; the return shipping is paid by you. We do not send return labels: we email you our return address and instructions.

If anything is still unclear — the plug, the voltage, how the box really looks in daylight — ask me before you buy, or Browse more Famicom Game Sets →

In your home:

US or Canada — TV: with an AV cable made for this console, plug the yellow/red/white ends into your TV and the picture shows as normal — no converter needed.
Power: A USB power cable is included. Plug it into a USB charger (not included). No step-down transformer is needed in any country.

FAQ

Will it work in my country?

Power comes from a USB power cable: plug it into a USB charger (not included). No step-down transformer is needed in any country. Video is NTSC-J composite. See our Country Guide for details.

What video outputs can I use?

The console outputs NTSC-J composite by default. With the Nintendo multi-out you can also use RGB or S-Video if your cable and display/upscaler support it (cables not included unless noted).

Will it work on a modern HDTV?

Many TVs still accept composite. For best results, use a compatible upscaler (e.g., RetroTINK/OSSC) with the correct cable for your setup.

Can you bundle items or combine shipping?

Yes—add items to cart and check out together. If you need a custom bundle (e.g., console + specific games), message us.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Yes. You can return an item within 30 days of delivery, even if you simply changed your mind. You pay the return shipping cost. Please check the photos of the exact item before you buy if the look matters to you.
