About this unit
Used. Tested and working. Region: NTSC-J (Japan only). Console only. Box, charger, instruction manual, SD card, and stylus are not included.
The outer shell shows scuffs, scratches, and a partial crack near the R button from normal use. The L button input can feel less responsive at times. The upper LCD shows fine surface marks and slight yellowing.

What We Did Before This Ships
Every console we sell is opened up and serviced by hand.
We don't just confirm it powers on — we look inside.
This unit was fully disassembled and cleaned internally; dust was removed from all components.
All boards and electrical contacts were cleaned with ethanol and a fast-drying, residue-free electronics cleaner to remove oxidation and residue.
Moving mechanical parts were lubricated with a light application of silicone grease for smooth, quiet operation. (We do not apply grease to electrical contacts — they are cleaned only.)
Electrolytic capacitors are replaced only when there is visible corrosion or leakage — nothing more, nothing less. For console families known for capacitor failure, a full recap is performed as standard.
If a console cannot be properly restored, we do not sell it.
After reassembly, the unit is tested with an actual game: video, sound, and controller input are all confirmed.
Before we seal the box, we power the console on one more time and confirm it is still working.

A note on power: This handheld has a built-in rechargeable battery, charged via an AC adapter. International buyers should use a charger suited to their local voltage.
A note on region: This is a Japanese Nintendo 3DS (or New 3DS / 2DS). The console is strictly region-locked — only Japanese 3DS game cards will boot on this unit. North American, European, and Australian 3DS cartridges are incompatible and will display an error. DS game cards (NDS format) are region-free and will play normally.
