Will it work in my country?

Power is 100 V (Japan). It generally works in 110–120 V regions; for 220–240 V regions, use a step-down transformer. Video is NTSC-J composite. See our Country Guide for details.

What video outputs can I use?

The console outputs NTSC-J composite by default. With the Nintendo multi-out you can also use RGB or S-Video if your cable and display/upscaler support it (cables not included unless noted).

Will it work on a modern HDTV?

Many TVs still accept composite. For best results, use a compatible upscaler (e.g., RetroTINK/OSSC) with the correct cable for your setup.
