Title: Our "Future" Began From This Gray Box.
Hello, it's the shopkeeper.
In this world, there are several moments of "generational change." The day black-and-white TVs became color. The day pagers became mobile phones. And in our world, the day the game cartridge changed from that old square shape to this new, slightly rounded one.
I still can't forget the shock I felt as an elementary school student when I first saw the screen of Super Donkey Kong on the Super Famicom. Into eyes that had lived in a world of blocky pixel art, that smooth, almost 3D-looking gorilla jumped out.
"Video games have come this far."
Even as a child, I felt a sense of awe, catching a glimpse of the "future" beyond the CRT screen.
But don't be fooled by its beautiful appearance. As you may know, this game is quite tough. I fell from barrels many times, got stung by bees many times... The only reason I never let go of the controller might have been because the wonderful music, still legendary today, kept encouraging my challenge.
Its beautiful graphics, and the high wall to be overcome. And the pleasant BGM that supports it all. In a way, it's a little bit like life, isn't it? (Well, in life, it's not a guarantee you'll always have a helpful monkey like Diddy to save you.)
This set includes the console that changed the history of games, along with the masterpiece Donkey Kong trilogy. This is not just a game console. It is the very memory of us, back in those days, believing in the future.
The outer box has been slightly worn from its long journey, but the console inside has kept its beautiful condition, almost as if time has stood still. You can tell at a glance that it has been well-loved.
So, would you like to experience that shock from that day, all over again?

What We Did Before This Ships
Every console we sell is opened up and serviced by hand.
We don't just confirm it powers on — we look inside.
- This unit was fully disassembled and cleaned internally; dust was removed from all components.
- All boards and electrical contacts were cleaned with ethanol and a fast-drying, residue-free electronics cleaner to remove oxidation and residue.
- Moving mechanical parts were lubricated with a light application of silicone grease for smooth, quiet operation. (We do not apply grease to electrical contacts — they are cleaned only.)
- Electrolytic capacitors are replaced only when there is visible corrosion or leakage — nothing more, nothing less. For console families known for capacitor failure, a full recap is performed as standard.
- If a console cannot be properly restored, we do not sell it.
- After reassembly, the unit is tested with an actual game: video, sound, and controller input are all confirmed.
- Before we seal the box, we power the console on one more time and confirm it is still working.
- Every console includes 30 days of support after it reaches you.
A note on power: this console uses Japan's 100V standard. Buyers in North America (120V) are advised to use a step-down transformer or a multi-voltage power supply; buyers in Europe (230V) will require a step-down transformer to use an original 100V adapter safely.
A note on region: This is a Japanese Super Famicom. Its cartridge slot accepts the rounded Japanese/PAL cartridge shape; North American SNES cartridges are physically taller and will not fit without modification. Japanese and PAL software share the same physical format, but use different region-lockout chips (CIC) and are not cross-compatible.
