• The item — $28.00. That is the price on this page.
• Shipping from Japan — $10.50 to most countries, plus $3 for each additional game, accessory, book or CD. Ordered together with a console, it ships free once the order reaches $100; games and accessories ordered on their own are charged shipping, whatever the total. One exception. Shipping to Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru is $15.00, plus $3 for each additional item, on every order, because shipping to South America costs far more. The exact figure for your address appears at checkout, before you pay.
• Import duties and taxes. Not included in the price and not collected at checkout — for every country, including the United States. Your country’s customs decides the amount, and the carrier will ask you to pay it before or at delivery. The carrier may also charge its own fee for handling customs. Rules differ by country and can change, so we can’t tell you the exact amount in advance. If a carrier ever presents a charge that looks wrong, send us the paperwork and we will look into it with you.

It leaves Japan within 1–3 business days of your payment, with a tracking number sent to you by email.

How long until it reaches you. We post from Aichi, in central Japan, with Japan Post. Japan Post publishes how many days air mail from here usually takes: about 18 days to the United States, 13 to Canada, 12 to the United Kingdom, 12 to Germany and 14 to Australia, counted from the day after we post it. Those are Japan Post’s own published figures, not ours, and Japan Post calls them a standard rather than a guarantee — a customs check can add days. Your tracking number lets you follow the parcel the whole way.

If it arrives damaged in transit, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging, so we can file a claim with the carrier. If it does not work, email us within 30 days of delivery — it is covered by our 30-day warranty. Either way, we send you a prepaid return label, so sending it back costs you nothing.
