Used Nintendo New Famicom Console System HVC-101 + Space Shooter Essentials Games SET

What We Did Before This Ships

Every console we sell is opened up and serviced by hand.
We don't just confirm it powers on — we look inside.

• This unit was fully disassembled and cleaned internally; dust was removed from all components.
• All boards and electrical contacts were cleaned with ethanol and a fast-drying, residue-free electronics cleaner to remove oxidation and residue.
• Moving mechanical parts were lubricated with a light application of silicone grease for smooth, quiet operation. (We do not apply grease to electrical contacts — they are cleaned only.)
• Electrolytic capacitors are replaced only when there is visible corrosion or leakage — nothing more, nothing less. For console families known for capacitor failure, a full recap is performed as standard.
• If a console cannot be properly restored, we do not sell it.
• After reassembly, the unit is tested with an actual game: video, sound, and controller input are all confirmed.
• Before we seal the box, we power the console on one more time and confirm it is still working.
• Every console includes 30 days of support after it reaches you.

A note on power: A USB power cable is included. Plug it into a USB charger (not included). No step-down transformer is needed in any country.

In your home:

• US or Canada — TV: with an AV cable made for this console, plug the yellow/red/white ends into your TV and the picture shows as normal — no converter needed.

A note on region: This is a Japanese Famicom. It accepts Famicom cartridges, which use a different 60-pin connector than the 72-pin NES cartridges sold in North America and Europe — they are not physically interchangeable without an adapter.

If anything here isn't covered, just ask — questions are always welcome.

What You Will Actually Pay

Nothing appears later that is not listed here.

• The item — $166.52. That is the price on this page.
• Shipping — free to most countries. Any order of $100 or more that includes a console ships free, and this console is already above that — games you add ride along free too. One exception. Shipping to Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru is $49.99 on every order, because shipping to South America costs far more. The exact figure for your address appears at checkout, before you pay.
• Import duties and taxes. Not included in the price and not collected at checkout — for every country, including the United States. Your country’s customs decides the amount, and the carrier will ask you to pay it before or at delivery. The carrier may also charge its own fee for handling customs. Rules differ by country and can change, so we can’t tell you the exact amount in advance. If a carrier ever presents a charge that looks wrong, send us the paperwork and we will look into it with you.

We have one of these. It is the unit in the photographs above — not a stock image, and not one of several.

It leaves Japan within 1–3 business days of your payment, with a tracking number sent to you by email.

If it arrives damaged in transit, does not work, or is not as described, email us within 30 days of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging — it is covered by our 30-day warranty, and we pay the return shipping. If you simply change your mind, you can return it within 30 days of delivery; the return shipping is paid by you. We do not send return labels: we email you our return address and instructions.
