About the console

Launched in 2001, the GameCube was Nintendo’s leap into the new millennium. Fast load times, vivid graphics, and a legendary library—from Super Smash Bros. Melee to Resident Evil 4—all inside a compact cube you could carry to a friend’s house like a lunchbox of pure joy.

Here in the museum, I call this the “buffet section.” Instead of dictating your menu, you get to choose: kart chaos in Double Dash!!, ocean adventures in Wind Waker, or monkey madness in Super Monkey Ball. Your bundle, your history. Each disc is cleaned, tested, and ready to spin.

About the USB-C Power
We replaced the heavy original AC adapter with a modern USB-C attachment.

Why is this better?
You do not need a step-down transformer. Japanese GameCubes are 100V, but by using your local USB-C charger, you can safely play anywhere in the world. It is also very compact.

What you need to prepare:
1. A Type-C to Type-C cable (Must be 45W or higher)
2. A USB-C PD wall charger (Must be 45W or higher)

How to use:
1. Plug the included USB-C attachment into the back of the GameCube.
2. Connect your Type-C cable to the attachment and your wall charger.
3. Plug the wall charger into your local outlet.

⚠️IMPORTANT WARNING: Power Delivery & 45W Required
To turn on the console, please strictly follow this rule.

The GameCube needs about 39W of power. Because of this, both your charger and cable must support Power Delivery (PD) and provide 45W or more (like a laptop charger).

If you use a standard smartphone charger (without PD, or only 20W/30W), the console will NOT turn on. Also, a USB-A to Type-C cable will not work. Please make sure to use a Type-C to Type-C connection.

Condition — honest notes

• Used. Tested and working.
• The console shows scuffs and scratches; the nameplate has light wear and fine marks.
• The gray controller-port area may show some yellowing/discoloration due to age — we do our best to select and ship a unit with minimal yellowing whenever possible.
• If your bundle includes a Game Boy Player, it and its controller show minor scuffs; the Start-Up Disc is in typical used condition (printed manual not included).
• Memory cards (if selected) may show scuffs, scratches, or yellowing.
• The high-speed port cover, retail box, and printed console manual are not included.
• All listed photos are sample images.

Frequently asked

Will it play games from my country?
Yes for NTSC-J (Japan) and NTSC-U/C (North America) discs — this unit is modified to be region-free across both. PAL discs are not supported.

Is it really tested?
Every console is cleaned and tested by hand here in Japan, and ships with a 30-day defect guarantee.

What about shipping & customs?
