The console shows scuffs and scratches from normal use. The HuCARD slot cover and the button used to open and close the CD-ROM cover are missing.

The connection at the AC adapter input is somewhat unstable. The CD-ROM can be read when slight pressure is applied near the "PUSH CLOSE" area. HuCARD games read correctly. Audio output functions properly.

Will it work in my country?

Power is 100 V (Japan). It generally works in 110–120 V regions; for 220–240 V regions, use a step-down transformer. Video is NTSC-J composite. See our Country Guide for details.

What video outputs can I use?

The console outputs NTSC-J composite by default. With the Nintendo multi-out you can also use RGB or S-Video if your cable and display/upscaler support it (cables not included unless noted).

Will it work on a modern HDTV?

Many TVs still accept composite. For best results, use a compatible upscaler (e.g., RetroTINK/OSSC) with the correct cable for your setup.
