The Story
D no Shokutaku (D)
Kenji Eno left a company that only let him make sequels, founded WARP in 1994, and told himself that if his first game failed he would leave the industry altogether. D had a scene no publisher would approve. So he submitted a clean master disc, passed certification with it, and swapped in the real game while he was flying to hand it over. It sold a million copies in Japan. He did not wait for permission and he did not break the rules — he worked inside them until he found the one crack wide enough to get through. This is the 3DO original, released 1 April 1995, where all of that happened first.
