In 1994, SNK took a bold step—bringing Neo Geo’s arcade power to the CD era.
The Neo Geo CD (CD-T01) may load slower than its cartridge cousin, but it offered the same games, same music, and the same SNK heart, now spinning at 1x speed.
This boxed, Japan-region Neo Geo CD has been tested and confirmed working, with matching serial numbers on the console, manual, and outer box—a true collector’s detail.
About this unit
Used. Tested and working.
Compatible with NTSC-J (Japan region) games.
The serial numbers on the console, instruction manual, and outer box all match.
The console and both included controllers show light scuffs and minor scratches from normal use.
Comes with the instruction manual, additional paperwork, official AC adapter, and cables.
The protective styrofoam insert for the console has some minor marks.
The retail box shows wear, including scuffs, corner wear, scratches, creases, and areas of peeling.
Please review all photos to confirm the exact contents and condition.
A note from the curator
“The Neo Geo CD was SNK’s way of saying, ‘the dream should be shared.’
It may load at its own pace—but that click of the drive lid? It’s pure nostalgia for anyone who ever waited through a ‘Now Loading’ screen with a smile.”
