• The item — $259.99. That is the price on this page.
• Shipping — free to most countries. We ship free on orders of $100 or more, and this is already above that. Two exceptions. Shipping to the United States is $10.50 on every order, because a customs clearance fee is charged when the parcel enters the US. Shipping to Brazil, Chile and Argentina is $45.00 on every order, because shipping to South America costs far more. The exact figure for your address appears at checkout, before you pay.
• Import duties and taxes. For orders to the United States, we collect them at checkout and pay them for you, so most parcels arrive with nothing further to pay. Everywhere else — including the UK, the EU and the rest of the world — we are not registered to collect your country’s import tax, so it is charged separately when the parcel arrives, together with any handling fee your carrier adds. Rules differ by country and can change, so please check your own customs guidance before you buy. If a carrier ever presents a charge that looks wrong, send us the paperwork and we will look into it with you.

It leaves Japan within 1–3 business days of your payment, with a tracking number sent to you by email.

How long until it reaches you. We post from Aichi, in central Japan, with Japan Post. Japan Post publishes how many days air mail from here usually takes: about 18 days to the United States, 13 to Canada, 12 to the United Kingdom, 12 to Germany and 14 to Australia, counted from the day after we post it. Those are Japan Post’s own published figures, not ours, and Japan Post calls them a standard rather than a guarantee — a customs check can add days. Your tracking number lets you follow the parcel the whole way.

If it arrives damaged or not working, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging. We send you a prepaid return label, so sending it back costs you nothing.
