Used Nintendo Famicom & Disk System 'History in a Box' Set | - Tested & Working

Title: All Legends Began From This Box.

Hello, it's the shopkeeper.

If you are looking to experience the entire history of Japanese video games in just one set, I can say with confidence that there is likely no better answer than this.

This slightly faded red and white box before you... it's not just a machine made of plastic. It's the "magic box" that first taught us that adventure doesn't just happen in movies or books, but can be controlled with our own two hands.

And then, there's the Disk System below it. This was the "magic expansion pack," so to speak, that allowed for bigger adventures with its save feature. It's thanks to this black machine that we could spend days exploring the vast, lonely planet Zebes in the classic 'Metroid'.

The lineup of included games is, frankly, a bit unfair. It’s like a 'greatest hits' album. You have the Mario brothers making a grand appearance in three titles, 'Famista '88' to get fired up with friends all night, and 'Golf' or 'Pinball' to quietly hone your focus... With this set alone, you can relive most of the excitement experienced by children in the 1980s.

This is a powerful set that requires some mental preparation before handling. (A cup of warm tea and your favorite snacks are recommended.)

This may be singing my own praises, but I can say with pride that this set is truly a "special version." It is not merely a set of used goods. It is something akin to a "cultural heritage," packed tightly with the dreams of Japanese children from the 80s and the ingenuity of the company called Nintendo.

Opening this box is like opening a time capsule. Well then, shall we begin that long-ago adventure once more?
